Construction of 4 Professorial Units for Psychiatry/Neurology adjacent to Blood Bank Building

• A proposal for Construction of Professorial Unit for Neurology was presented in BOM of SIMS for approval which is under consideration. For the establishment of these 4 Psychiatry Units and creation of various posts to operationalize these units through SNE 2019-20 has already submitted to your good office vide Principal, SIMS office letter No.4791/Principal dated 26.07.2019

Up-gradation/Extension of OPD Block adjacent to back side of Admin Block

• The C and W Department has been requested for provision of Layout Plan, Rough Cost Estimate so that the PC-I may be prepared and submitted for next fiscal year

Up-gradation/Extension of Emergency from 10 to 30 bedded adjacent to existing Emergency Block

• The C and W Department has been requested for provision of Layout Plan, Rough Cost Estimate so that the PC-I may be prepared and submitted for next fiscal year

• The proposal for the scheme of Up-gradation of Sewerage System was submitted to SHC and ME Department in 2019-20 for inclusion in ADP 2020-21 which was not considered

Up-gradation/Replacement of Electrification System of whole Institute

• The proposal for the scheme of Up-gradation of Electrification System was submitted to SHC and ME Department in 2019-20 for inclusion in ADP 2020-21 which was not considered

Up-gradation of Laundry for patient (Buildings + Machinery)

Renovation of Old Wards of this Institute

Establishment of 100 bedded Child Psychiatry Unit

• Besides this is a mega Psychiatric Institute in Pakistan, currently this Institute has lack of facility for admission of psychiatric patient under age of 18 years. The plan is under consideration for the construction of 100 bedded Child Psychiatry Unit in the premises of this Institute within next ten years

Establishment of Medical ICU for Male and Female Critically ill Psychiatric Patients

• Due to lack of such facility the admitted Psychiatric patient suffering with medical issues are referred to other hospitals for treatment. This Institute is considering for the Establishment of Medical ICU for Male and Female Patients which is the basic need of tertiary care hospitals

Up-gradation of Pathology Lab

• The plan is under consideration for the next five years

Purchase of MRI, CT Scan, Anaesthesia, ECT and EEG Machines

• The proposal for the purchase of diagnostic machinery was submitted to SHC and ME Department in 2019-20 for inclusion in ADP 2020-21 which was not considered

Installation of Razor Wire (Double Roll) at Boundary Wall along with CCTV Cameras

Establishment of Male Nursing School at PIMH, Lahore

• At the prevailing situation COVID-19, there is acute shortage of nursing staff especially male nurses. This is a mega psychiatric Institute in the Province of Punjab to handle the aggressive patients, there is a dire need of Male Nursing Staff in this Institute. The land is available for above said project
