Punjab Institute of Mental Health, Lahore has two Libraries. One Library is located in Rehabilitation Unit and other has been established on the First Floor of Emergency Department. In Rehabilitation Center Library, 368 books are available on different topics like history, current affairs, comedy, religion and literature (novels). Newspapers and weekly magazines are present for patients. Patients attend Library to read newspapers, books and discuss different topics in group discussion. Important news items are written on notice board to improve their knowledge. Patients are issued books for reading in their leisure time.
